How to choose the right size

  1. Match the width: 60 or 90 cm to fully cover the hob.

  2. Keep safe distances:65 cm above electric hobs; ≥ 70 cm above gas.

  3. Calculate airflow: target 10–12× the room volume.

    • Example: 20 m² × 2.5 m height = 50 m³ → aim for ≥ 500–600 m³/h.

  4. Mind the duct: recommended Ø150 mm; reducing diameter increases noise and cuts performance.

  5. Pick the mode:

    • Extraction (ducted outside) = best performance.

    • Recirculation = use charcoal filter FWK 228 / 240 and replace regularly.

Care & maintenance

  • Wash aluminum grease filters every 2–3 months (low-temp dishwasher cycle is fine).
